Americana at its finest. Memories. This rare scene renders stories handed down through generations. The antique fire truck is awesome. The red Dodge looks rather sleek. Pollen and dust cover everything amid allergy season. The old barn was surrounded by pine trees that made me think of the Louvin Brothers version of “In the Pines”. I interviewed Charlie Louvin before he died, which can be read in Insured Beyond The Grave. This car barn is a graveyard of memories in many respects. Relics of a lost time linger in this shot like a photograph of a person no longer among the living…
