This two thousand seat amphitheater thrived for years. Built in 1972, this place served as a popular location for musical theater. However, due to lack of funding this cultural space was permanently closed in 2005. Hurricanes demolished the stage beyond repair through the years. Now, nothing but ruin, empty seats and modern desolation. Think of all the abandoned theaters throughout the history of the world. There’s always talk of resurrecting this amphitheater. I shot many photos of this site, but only this one provides the ghost-like scope of the once vibrant location.
